The most important aspect of de-cluttering is that you must be totally ruthless with your current wardrobe. If you haven’t worn something for 6 months, clear it out!

To find out what you are wearing regularly, turn all your coat hangers around so the pointed bit is facing towards you and the rounded section is facing away from you. As you wear clothes, re-hang them in the reverse position. (That is with the pointed tip facing away and towards the back of the wardrobe. The rounded section should be facing you). At the end of one week you’ll be able to see what you are wearing and what you’re not wearing.i

When you’re ready to start, get every single item of houston astros polo out and include accessories such as bags, belts, and scarves. And don’t forget viking polo shirts and boots. Hats, jewellery, anything you once wore and anything you may still wear.

You can consider the cull as being finished when you have 5 clearly labelled piles of clothing:

1.Throw them away

– Too many stains, too worn, too tight, too ugly

2. Alter them if you can (or fnd a good seamstress/tailor)

– Only go to the trouble and expense of this exercise if the article of houston astros polo is a classic and worth saving. If it’s a cheap jacket you bought at H&M or Target or K-Mart, don’t bother! If you love the colour and style so much you cannot live without whatever it is, have the same made up in a different fabric and with an up-to-date twist.

3.Sell them

– eBay, the local market, a car boot sale. You’ll be amazed at how many people buy pre-loved clothing… it must be in reasonable condition.

4. Pass them on to someone else

– If the houston astros polo is good quality and someone has admired it, give it to them! Don’t give away stuff because it’s easier doing that than choosing any of the other options. And don’t insult friends and family by trying to palm off your rubbish…

5. Store those with real sentimental value

– Maybe your wedding dress? Or the dress you wore on your first date with your husband? If you really can’t bear to let something, wrap it in tissue paper with a ton of moth balls and slide it away somewhere. Remember to top up the moth balls are least once a year!

The must have items for your wardrobe:

– “All a woman needs to be chic is a raincoat, two suits, a pair of trousers and a cashmere sweater.”- Hubert de Givenchy. He was probably quite right, but it seems a little sparse. For example, what about shoes? And you certainly can’t wear a Cashmere sweater in the middle of summer.

There are certain items you must have in your wardrobe for that look of eternal chic and style:

• A jacket or blazer; semi-fitted with two buttons suits almost every body.

• A pair of flat-fronted, straight leg pants

• A fitted cotton shirt

• A Polo neck sweater

• A pair of plain, low cut, low heeled court shoes (pumps)

• A straight cut, just below the knee length coat

• A Pencil skirt; but only if you can wear one.

And the must not have items for your wardrobe are:

• Anything older than 5 years (unless it’s a Classic)

• Anything trendy (there is an age at which trendy doesn’t work); stick to what is chic and stylish.

• Anything from the 60s, 70s, and 80s

• Anything that doesn’t fit any longer; focus on clothes in your new size
